from Private sale Year / Model Reviewed: XS2200 Strengths: -flexibility (2 ohm bridge
-small footprint
-enough power for 2 10" subs
-accepts 4AWG power cable with no problem
-bang for the buck Weaknesses: -slight turn-off thump Summary: The XS2200 amplifier from Phoenix Gold offers excellent flexibility, allowing you to run a pair of 4 ohm subwoofers without any trouble. Mine was benched at 235x1 mono at 4 ohms, but that number won''t change much when you load it down to 2 ohms due to protection circuitry. Still, it has plenty of power to drive my pair of JL 10W0''s. Even after driving hard bass, it barely gets warm. The adjustable bass boost is set at a perfect frequency (45Hz) to get the most out of bass drums. And of course it comes with a reasonable price tag. Similar Products Used: Pioneer GM-X352
