this has been a nice amp i have had a few amps in my time i also have a zx450 wich is also good but my xs2500 with alpine head setup and 1farad pg capacitor pumps my bocshman 750rms spl pro in submission! i havent had a bass line like that ever it sounds mean with a 3.5 cube home made super solid box has very tight looowwww bassss!! love it

To all the people who say this amp is not a sub amp I say "what the heck ya'll smokin on because it's got you twisted." I have ran this amp to all sorts of subs (from 10's to 15's) I have blown a total of 4 subs with this BEAST! Including a JL-W6 15 and a PBX 15XSDv.2 (yeah that big 60 pound sum of a _ _ _ _ _.) This amp is capable of the 1000wRMS range if ran right! I had this amp pushing 2 15-inch JL W-6's for a majority of its span with me but it has ran Eclipse's,RF's,JL's,PowerBass's,MTX's, Power Acoustics, so its been tested quite a few times! It blew one of my JL's (15w-6) and I sent it in and got it back and still slammed it some more! My whole car has started looseing screws and has rattled all sorts of stuff loose! I LOVE THIS AMP AND RECOMMEND TO ALL WHETHER PUSHING SUBS OR SPEAKERS. I had another one of these amps so I had 2 for a 2 month span but the one I bought used for a 125 bucks had a few problems that had nothing to do with me or what I hooked it up to but a previous owner! The one I bought for 365 from a local car audio shop has never shut off or had 1 problem! (Except blowing SUBS) That is just my personal experience with a "Classic AMP" that I will always speak highly of! PG is tha @*%#! Dont sleep on this model! (Does get HOT but never shuts off) Must get a LPL to fully enjoy though.

My friend sold me his system, on XS2500, 2 XS124DVC sub in a sealed box and a 1 farad pg cap. This is the best sound system i had never have!! It makes really good and deep bass without distortion. Now they're in a sealed box but i project to make a big vented box to try if it sound better. If someone could help me for that, I need some technical note on the 12" sub or the XS sub series i don't find anything on these sub!!! if you got something add a comment to my review.

they keep going and going i have them hooked up to a pheonix gold xs 2500 bridged and the hit hard i am hitting at 147.8db with these subs i wish i could get four but the store sold out completly

i have the dvc model 12 inch subs in a sealed box in my 1978 bonneville and the subs sound great i play prject pat and three six mafia and i can feel every last bass note

Runs my one JL 10w6 very clean with a lot of control. I couldn't turn the amp up more than half way because the sub couldn't handle much more. I love the LPL control on it as well!

It did tend to get hot when I was running it to 3 10w6's but go figure with those things trying to drink the power they want out of that little amp?

I've used the xs2500 to power 3 JL 10w's in a sealed box and it surprised me that it could run them so efficiently! Now that it is 3 years down the road I got out of the db phase and ran it mono to just 1 JL 10w6 about half way open and that JL just dances flawlessly with that amp. I love it!

i dont no what u guys are talking about getting hot ??? i had it on 2 pg xs 12s hit great but blew the subs..never once cliped or shut down...now i have 2 pg m100s and 1 m25 amps..and the xs2500 is now in my girlfriends car on 2 sony xplod 12s and sounds great the subs are weak the amp is about 1/2 way up and shes had it for about a year now and never once shut down!! i guess u guys are just taking it to 1 ohm were the amp is not stable.. and for the guy that said its not a sub amp LMAO!!

it can push just about any speaker u match it up with.It can also with stand high tempertures

It has to have so much power to push it.sometimes it fades out but it never cuts off.

This amp is awesome, it puts out much more than i thought it would. I have it hooked up to two jl audio w3 and it makes my car sound like the trunk it about to fall off.
