Description:
These 2-channel amplifiers vary in continuous power rating from 40 watts x 2 to 100 watts x 2. All of the 2-channel amplifiers can be bridged to 4 Ohm mono to produce more power than the rated power specifications.

Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
decent sq.. small design.. stays fairly cool.

Weaknesses:
build quality was .. well, lacking. output was lacking.

Summary:
Had a friend with this amp or whichever amp puts out ~ 300watts. I recommended the amp to him over the orion hot setup amp he had.. I feel stupid and wish I didn't. As crappy as hot setup is, I think it put out more power (rated equally) and was much more durable. Of all the things to go wrong his preamp input terminals came off when taking out his rca's.. sq was decent, better than the orion but I don't think it made up the difference in build quality. Sorry bud.

Review 2 of 2 , from Terrebonne, OR. U.S.A.

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Cartoys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002 GM-X352

Strengths:
sounds good, thumps for 200w, runs fairly cool most of the time... great for 100 bucks if you need a quick replacement

Weaknesses:
if the amp doesnt get enough power on a heavy bass hit it will cut out (when your sitting somewhere just chilling with the engine off or idling with the headlights on in an older truck).

Summary:
not bad... sounds good and has some thump to it... the 80 hz lpf crossover is great, it doesnt cut off much noticable bass up to about 120 hz (12db/oct) and the overload circut works fine... ive only blown a fuse once because an electrical problem with my truck...
