This amp sounds pretty good at half power, with all the gains off, and it is powerful, so you still get a sound. Turn it up any higher and your music will be completely distorted and your ears will hurt, but not in a good way. I just picked up an earthquake 500.1 amp to run my alpine type-r 12. WOW. When it comes to music, dont buy whats cheap, go for power/quality -for big systems go with earthquake or fosgate, smaller systems run nicely off of alpine and clarion. Similar Products Used:
