Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 CL400

Strengths:
Decent power output, better crossovers than most amps at this price, cant beat the power for the cost

Weaknesses:
Distorts too easily, sounds too sloppy, better sounding amps are arent that much more expensive

Summary:
Ive had my CL400 for about 6 months from a friend. I ran it 4 ohm stereo to a pair of MTX 3000 12" subs, and it was ok. Then, in a quest for more power, I ran it amp bridged with a 2 ohm load on it! I was surprised it didnt smoke, because its only rated to 4 ohm mono. It easily put out 325-350 watts, maybe more, but it goes into distortion quick, and it sounds more than a little sloppy, buts thats to be expected with a cheap amp, especially with a ported box. Also, it never got too hot, and it never went into protection.
