Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $320.00 from An eBay Store

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 1001bd

Summary:
Rockford Fosgate's 1001bd is truely an awesome creation. My amp is powering my Eclipse 8122 DVC which is running at 2 ohms in a sealed box. Previous to my Fosgate amp, I had a Sony XM-1600GSD which blew. I've always been a loyal fan of Sony until I entered the car market. Sony doesn't seem to compete in the upper league. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice amp for the tame, but not for my Eclipse. After the amp blew, I was discouraged and almost didn't buy a replacement, but I'm certainly glad I bought my new fosgate amp. So far I am completely satisfied! This amp is great for those who want SQ or SPL.

Strengths:
Absolute awesome power! Subsonic Filter Remote Bass control Small Blue illuminated logo Nice speaker and power terminals

Weaknesses:
Very power hungry on the car's electrical. This isn't really a weakness because it should be obvious with its power rating, however it needs to be kept in mind.
