Strength:
great bass and killer sound when the bass knob works right.
Weakness:
had it hooked bridged to a pair of sony xplode 12's 1200 watts a piece 350 watts cont 8 ohm they would overheat the amp after about 20 to 30 mins of hard use. great amp except the bass remote is junk and without it the amp has no balls

5 years still going strong....in my 3rd car....WOW!
Weakness:
Kills speakers. I had 2 12" Kicker competitions...DEAD...got an Eclipse DVC 12"...Just killed the 2nd one DEAD! Just got a JL Audio 12W7-3 and have my fingers crossed You cant go wrong with a fosgate! Similar Products Used: I dont waste my time or money |

Ha, weak? .. i think not! Wow is all i have to say ... i have this hooked up to 2 12" alpine type R's and it blows them away ... i set car alarms off, cops hate it, and i can't get enough of it. None really, maybe overpriced when it was new, but can easily be bought for under $200 now. I live in vegas and in the summer its gets over 120 degrees and this amp has never shut off on me. Ive had mine for about 3 years now and havent had one problem with it, and right now I am looking for another one to run my new dyn 220mkII componenents. I have a usx2080, which is a sturdy little amp but I think im just going to be looking for a little more. |

Great power :) efficient cooling

none what a great amp. It hits really hard for one Visonik 12" competition sub. I hit 137.4 db in a hatchback. Bridged @500 watts rms. I can''t recommend anything better. :) I am selling my Rockford and Visonik if anyone is interested email me. I have only used it for about 5 months. Similar Products Used: None |

lots of power, small and compact, ez connections for power, ground etc.
Weakness:
heats up every once in awhile, but thats minor; also no onboard fuses this amp has a lot of power for its price. highly underrated. I got it pushing two jl 15w0s and it pounds so hard it HURTS!!! Next, i plan on getting a power 800.2 and hooking it up to a pair of 15 inch hx2s Similar Products Used: alpine, kenwood, all cheap crap compared to the rockford. You get what you pay for! |

it''s realy loud This amp is a very good efficient and loud amp. I have it running 2 10" rockford HX2''s and it hammers them. I have realy good sound quality yet I still have a lot of bass when I want it. The price I paid for it wasn''t bad at all and I god the new 2001 model before it even came out. All in all if you want a realy loud system then this is a good amp to look at. The only bad thing is that it''s too loud for my ears. This thing is the most under rated product I''ve ever seen.
