Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $125.00

Summary:
Wow, what can i say! This is a worthless excuse at electrical engineering. This amp sounded so horrible powering my JL speakers, and it over heated after 20 mins. at medium volume level!! I am so disgusted with this low quality product! If this thing didnt say sony on it, i would use it as a door stopper!

Strengths:
This is a great theft detterant! All i have to do is leave it in my passenger seat when im away from my car, and no one will try and steal my stereo when they see a sony amp in there!

Weaknesses:
The output was not clean at all, (made clicking sounds, colored the sound really baddly) had a lound turn on and turn off thump, didnt putout anywhere near 75W rms (more like 45), and it overheated and turned off at about medium volume level. Made with real cheaply made, flimsy components. The connections were really weak too.

Summary:
This thing is great for speakers and tweeters. They are crystal clear and can be cranked high.

Strengths:
Crispness & Power

Weaknesses:
Wires are hard to plug in due to the design of the sharp angle they are set at.
