It requires 14.4 volts to opperate correctly, as everone before says it gets hot, thats because they dont have 14.4 volts, thats a lot of power, more than most amps use, if amps dont get enough voltage then they tend to get very hot, mostly the size is the weaknesses almost perfect amp Summary:
This sony amp is by far the best amp I have ever owned, when use correctly with care a the right voltage 14.4 volts its the toughest amp out, pheniox gold cant even come close to the amount of power this amp puts out for the money, by far the best amp for the dollar.It powers my 2 Rockford Fosgate HE2's like a thunder bolt in my camaro Similar Products Used:
