from autosonics Year / Model Reviewed: ARX7370 Summary: My deck is the 7370, pretty much the same as the 7470. By itself, it''s just a fancy tape deck. But with a disc changer and signal processor, this thing is great! Nice, cool-looking display, cd title memory, not too many useless buttons/features, awesome sound, remote control (that way, you can control most functions without even looking)! Makes an awesome system "brain" when used with a processor, giving you sub control, crossover control, EQ control, etc. I got it for a great price with the changer and processor ($600 Can. for everything!). The best Clarion deck of that year. Strengths: Nice display, graphics that can be deactivated if you find them annoying, cd title memory, detachable face, EQ/DSP/cd changer/t.v. inputs give you a lot of options for your system, great sound quality! Weaknesses: The stupid alpha-selector sucks, is difficult to use (eg. you skip the song when you want to turn up the volume), but the remote makes up for this. Also, no att. button.
