This is one sharp piece of technology (when it works). Awesome sound easy to use features. I am currently shopping for a new one since all of the handy "anti-theft" features were rendered useless when my motor D mask ribbon broke (for the third time in 6 months!). Thieves walked by, look in, smashed out my window and walked off. So, if you get one of these, and it breaks... SEND IT BACK AND GET A NEW ONE. I had mine repaired the first two times time at a Kenwood certified elecronics store and the third time I mailed it to a Kenwood repair shop (all under warranty) and here I am now, shopping for a replacement. Strengths:
Great sound both CD, cassette, and tuner and the anti theft detachable faceplate is great....when it works!!! Weaknesses:
When its broke, its a sitting duck, but none really outside of that. Similar Products Used:
An ealier 1998 KRC D mask player that last a good bit until it was stolen last year.
