from Car Audio Dealer Year / Model Reviewed: 1996 Panasonic CQ-DF802U Summary: This head unit is killer! Right from opening the bos you're greated wih a jet black face that just hints at what could be lieing in wait. It comes with 3 pr 5V preouts, and pushes a modest amount of rms from the receiver itself. I had my enitre system amped of a JL 300/4 and didnt rely on what the deck could do itself. The sound quality was great, the control of the unit is very simple involving only touching the screen. Although after excessive use, you could clearly see where the most amount of use was. Unfortunately while rewiring some RCA's a fuse popped and the deck started smoking. It was still under warranty so i sent it away and in my impatience bought a Clarion DXZ835. Now that this is bak I think I will get rid of the Clarion and opt for the Ghost once again. It's a solid deck that looks amazing to boot. Strengths: Intuitive controls
Great sound output
Amazing look Weaknesses: If the screen cracks, youre screwed
After much use finger prints are always visible Similar Products Used: Clarion DXZ835
