The unit is a terrible buy. The sound is terrible, and it doesn't have ample power to drive most speakers.
I'm a little disappointed with the display. It seems a bit muddled, and is almost impossible to see when the sun is shining in through the rear window.
Frankly, anything that AIWA makes is substandard. It's good if you don't have enough money to buy something worthwhile. Definitely not for an audiophile, nor for someone who knows what 'audiophile' means.

Strength:

Sounds great. Good value. External input great feature.

Weakness:

The clock won't stay on. If I need to check time I have to push a button while driving, very inconvenient.

$120. I would recomend it for the external input only.

Strength:

Inexpensive

Weakness:

Clock won't stay on
No volume knob (just buttons)

I payed $89.99 for the CD player and installed it in my boat. The last CD player I bought was over $300.00 a few years ago so the price has really dropped. If your looking for a CD player for a second car or boat and don't want to spend a lot then this one is for you. The radio seemed to pick up stations very well and it played the CD's I burned on my computer just fine.

Seems like a nice CD player for such low dollars
