Strength:

cool look, good sound,& good price.

Weakness:

Can skips at times.

It was easy to pick up on how to use it and use the settings. I been looking for other cd players that could display the red lihts, like this one. But so far I found none. I love the red lights b/c it maches my red camaro. Bass and sound is good. It's very sharp looking for the price. It skips on rough speed bumps and it can also at times be sensitive on skipping too. Once in a while it will lose all memory when I take the face plat off. I need to get it fixed becuase someone Played with It too much and brook it (won't pull in cd & play). Hopefully it will be fix for good and no more other problems like some of these other people are having with theirs. I feel I am one of the lucky ones.

Strength:

Nice sound and good looking display. The high bass is fine sounding. I got it as a gift so it was worth the price

Weakness:

The red is almost invisible in the daylight and seeing some of the sound adjustments is difficult. It looks too good. My face plate was ripped off twice.

All in all a pretty good CD player. I had a CD get stuck in it one time but after w while it came out again and in good condition. I've had the face plate stolden from my car twice now but thats the worst that happened. Occasionally when I use the CD player too long it will freeze up and not load another until it cools down but it keeps on going. I have to learn to take the faceplate with me more often, at $65-$70 a pop I can't afford to keep losing it.

Strength:

Good sound for a few months, nice bass and display.

Weakness:

Everything else about this deck. Unless of course you like to get it repaired (cleaned) every other week.

This deck worked fine for a month or two, but then would not eject my CD's. 2 weeks ago it wouldn't recognize the CD in it, but wouldn't eject it either. Also you couldn't put any other CD's in. I sent it in to the repair center. They said all they did was clean it and it worked fine. After a couple days of good use the same thing happened again and now I have no sounds in the ride again. I am quite disappointed.

Looks good, but that's it.

Weakness:

Never worked from the minute I bought it. Nobody can fix it and it's been a headache.

Never worked from the start. Had it "fixed", still didn't work. CD's skip really bad. I hate this stereo and will never buy AIWA again. Best Buy is terrible too. I'm getting a Pioneer DEH-3400. Read good reviews. I guess paying only $100, I got what I paid for.

This is my first car stereo. Always had whatever came in the car. Nothing nice.

Strength:

Great for the price! Ease of use Pretty decent sound Volume knob (not up/down buttons) Alright looks

Weakness:

You want fries with this (at this price)? well, the only minor thing is that it can't display clock simultaneously with CD Track or radio freq.

Great CD player for the price! I bought it as an open box item and works great since day 0! No skipping problems except when going over REALLY rough, gut- shifting bumps. The colour of the faceplate matches my car's dash pretty well and I love having the option to change from red to blue lighting! Red matches my speedo lights very well but occasionally i'll switch to blue for a 'cool' look. Controls are pretty straight forward and is easy to use. Simple, clean looking display that won't distract you from driving (i hate those units that have fancy graphics going on -- what's the purpose of that anyway?)

Strength:

Great sound in bass, mids, and highs. Also for the illumenated lights.

Weakness:

My CD player wouldnt spin, or eject my CD's.

This is a nice radio for its illuminated lights and colors, and for its great sound. But it is not a deck worth looking foword to buying. I experienced many problems with this deck, and to much time with the repair center.w

Strength:

- good buy for its price range - dual illumination (red/blue) - easy to use - simple design

Weakness:

- doesnt play all burned cd's - dull colored digital display - cd player quit working after a few months

i bought this cd player about 6 months ago. it is easy to use and has dual illumination (red/blue). when i first got it i noticed that it did not play all of my burned cd's, but just certain types of cd's. then about a week ago the cd player just stopped working for all cd's, luckily i got a service plan on it and can get it fixed. its pretty cool other than the problem ive had recently but if you get a service plan i wouldnt worry about it.

This cd player has worked perfectly for me since day one. I love the different colors and the easy to use controls. I got it for a Christmas present, so I don't know how much it cost, but it's been perfect the whole time.

Strength:

When it worked, it sounded great.

Weakness:

It doesn't work.

Don't buy this player, I currently have a hole in my dash where there used to be a stereo because the deck is at the Aiwa Service Center right now. It started with a few skips, then got worse... now it won't play my cd's at all, then the aux channel went! It's sickening, but just be safe and make sure to spend the extra 50-100 bucks to get a deck that works, I would have.
