Price Paid:  $150.00 from Etronics.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 CDE 7858

Summary:
Alpine makes a nice deck with a lot of umph It's a great companion for an amp and a subwoofer. good sounds and nice adjustments.

Strengths:
The subwoofer adjustment and the fequency control makes for a banging subwoofer and you still get the crisp sound of everything else. Alltogether this things cranks hwen hooked up to an amp. I like the idea of being able to take the face off when I leave my car. It has played all the cdr's I put in it with no problem.

Weaknesses:
The display sucks and it's just plain.
