Review 1 of 3 , from Mexico

Price Paid:  $500.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1998

Strengths:
Surround, LPS, Ecualizer, Easy to use....

Weaknesses:
Non detachable face or Code Protected

Summary:
Simply the best head-unit, great sound and the best display. I haven't any problem with the 3D changer(like a lot of friends tell me about it). I compare the functions and the sound quality with: Clarion, Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer, JVC, and the conclussion is: ALPINE IS THE BETTER!!!!!!!

Review 2 of 3 , from Cerritos, CA

Price Paid:  $609.00

Strengths:
great display, numerous functions, md + 3cd, comes with a remote that isn't like a credit card (so it won't slip under your chair)

Weaknesses:
none

Summary:
best head unit i have ever used/seen. other double din headunits cannot compare to this except for the ones in japan. only other one i would recommend is the kenwood one that had dvd capability. the digital equalizer spectrum is always great to watch. highly recommend this product- have no complaints.

Review 3 of 3 , from Pollok,TX USA

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1997

Strengths:
Plenty features that are needed to power a large system.

Weaknesses:
The 882 cannot handle much bass, it wants to start skipping. Also the disc changer has stuck on me several times.

Summary:
Great deck for looks if a person does not have a large system. I would still have it, but I would not take out my woofers.
