Well, I've had this CD Receiver for over 3 years. It's really given me countless hours of listening pleasure as well as no problems since it was installed. And for $199.99 at that time, it was a great value. The CD player works flawlessly and sounds great for something from 1998. Granted, large potholes or flying over speedbumps will obviously cause whatever song is playing to skip, but should one really be going over potholes or flying over speedbumps? It was installed in my 87 Vanagon and now resides in my 94 Golf. It's provided more power than I'll ever need in a receiver as I'm just an average user...no boom boxes or audio competitions.
