Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $400.00 from OzCom Car Stereo

Strengths:
Blaupunkt. Need I say more? Very nice receiver with good internal amp, great features, and flawless CD play. (Very hard to get it to skip)

Weaknesses:
Ok, there have been a few. 1. The detachable face mechanism sucks! Very stiff and the connectors have come loose as a result. 2. It died on me last year and had to be sent away for repair due to an "Internal Error". (Whatever that means) 3. Like the other review my select button has come off as well. Just too brittle, but after 2 and a bit years I can''t complain. I just superglued the little catches, stuck it back on, and now use the remote for selecting. Easy!. =)

Summary:
Well I''ve had this deck for nearly 2.5 years and I love it. The features this cd unit has are very impressive. I especially like the welcome message and max turn on volume features. Very soon to add an amp to my system so the pre-outs will get a run.

Similar Products Used:
None. This is my first. My next will more than likely be a Blaupunkt as well. I really like their stuff.

Review 2 of 2

Summary:
I've owned the Las Vegas for 8 months, it has been a great cd player. The 2 most impressive points are the radio and the software menus. The only negative thing I see is that the 'select" button has came off. In process of getting a replacement button.
