Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $97.00 from Fry's Electronics -

Year / Model Reviewed:
1985 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Summary:
May 2003 - installed For 4 months, this thing worked well for me. Sounds great! Easy to change the options. Excellent reception. First day of school, CD player stops working for no apparent reason. Then 6 months later, the CD player starts working again... Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it. It sounds great, just the CD player didn't work for 6 months. When I bought it, I thought it worth the money. Eleven months later, I still thinnk it was worth my money. Still sounds great! Recommendation - YES

Strengths:
BASS!!! Excellent sound! Looks great at night.

Weaknesses:
CD player stopped working for 6 months Can't read some CD-R's. Display hard to read at certain angles

Similar Products Used:
Replaced my old 25x2/15x4 Pioneer tape deck with broken display.

Price Paid:  $220.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Miami Beach CD51

Summary:
Very attractive (especially at night) cd player. Lots of power. Made my stock speakers sound high end. 50wattx4 25watt RMS! Some nice features. Very easy to use.

Strengths:
POWER Ease of use

Weaknesses:
Volume nob is a bit awkward to turn because it doesn't stick out. No sub out.

Review 5 of 5

Price Paid:  $210.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 CD 51 Miami Beach

Summary:
Looks and SOUNDS GREAT! in my Honda Accord EX. Compared to other high profile brands in the same price range, the Blaupunkt blows them away. Very high end looking and sounding despite a somewhat entry level price. Loaded with features you normally would not expect for the money. I am extremely pleased with this purcahse and my music sounds wonderful. I fully recommend giving this one (or any of the other similar models) a very serious look and listen!

Strengths:
Value, sound quality, features, aesthetics, looks, German engineering smarts, dealer installed 2 yr warranty, and overall ergomomics.

Weaknesses:
none to speak of so far.

Similar Products Used:
None
