from Online Retailer Year / Model Reviewed: 2003 Clarion DXZ835MP Strengths: Toggle switch 4 subwoofer volume was nice Weaknesses: Noisy
Slow
Won't accept warranty claims if bought online Summary: This was my first time using Clarion. I am unimpressed, to say the least. I listen almost exclusively to MP3 cd's or CD-R/CD-RW's and the player was very slow to read and the players mechanism's were very noisy. I mention the player in past tense because it won't read ANY cd's (burned or otherwise) now and I've taken it out of my convertible 2000 Mustang GT. I only used it for about 9 months. About a week after it stopped reading any discs it wouldn't eject the disc I was putting in (i thought it might magically start working again). I got mad and bumped the player with my palm and now the tuner won't even produce sound. I won't buy Clarion again, despite my audiophile friends opinions. Similar Products Used: Kenwood
