Summary:
Hi, everybody! I've bought this model not long ago, I like it very much, but I've got a little problem. I ask for a help. I'm from Russia and I have difficulty with my radio tuning, cause of the difference in search of the radio station between USA & Europe. We have a different tuning interval. I need to get somehow into the service menu, but I don't now how..it must be some settings for changing this tuning interval. You can advice me per e-mail,vip.749@mail.ru Thanks a lot. Viktoria

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $279.00 from QVC

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000/cm720k

Strengths:
2pairs of RCA output at 5V. Powerful. Equalizer. Brightness level from 1-9. well laid out. and many functions.

Weaknesses:
very picky on what type of CD-R you use. Slightest road bump causes the CD to skip. volume knob becomes delicate after a few uses and may stick permantly.

Summary:
Finally got rid of mines after 2 replacements. The first replacement came after the volume button got stuck in one position and I could not lower the volume. All CD's were skipping due to the smallest road bump. I knew the second replacement was due when the CD's started skipping again. But i decided to deal with it cause i did not want to be without another radio for a month or two. Suddenly the knob got stuck at a high volume level and I was not able to lower the volume. Every time you start the vechicle you had no choice but to listen at high level or no sound at all. So I sent it back for another replacemnt. Turnaround time was 3 weeks later but with a new face plate but same old unit. Now I have working volume controls but the same old skipping problems when playing an audio CD. FINALLY SOLD IT WITH MY VECHICLE 2 Weeks ago.
