Year / Model Reviewed:
 Avensis

Summary:
The first one was a defective unit as i found out within 3 months and I waited for one month for the new on to come, the second one along with the MP8017 in a Toyota Avensis worked perfectly.Excellent sound, solid construction, great to have it as a MD changer

Strengths:
Great sound, no skips (MD!!)

Weaknesses:
strange lights of the equaliser but s.o. can get easily used to.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $289.00

Summary:
I bought this unit to go with a Kenwood KDC-MP8017 MP3 CD receiver. I wanted to have a changer that I could access while driving. The guys that installed it enjoyed the sound quality of this combination.
I wish Kenwood would have left off the stupid EQ display and just left the MD slot and a few buttons on the front for operation rather than having to flip down the front panel to load discs.
The disc change time seems slow to me at about 12 seconds from disc to disc, that makes (magazine) random play filled with quiet gaps.
I have not used the 4th disc option which lets you play a 4th disc but disables changer operation.

Strengths:
3 mini disc changer

Weaknesses:
annoying display, slow disc changes (12 seconds)
