Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $140.00 from Circuit City

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 kenwood kdc-116s

Summary:
I have always loved the quality of Kenwood Car Recievers. This one is my first cd player I have bought for a car.I have been stuck in the 80's until I bought this.I hate the reliability of a detachable face so this made it great.I have found a place in Southern California that still have these units for cheap still new in the box. There is a catch on having to pay for installation and wiring kit.But for me its well worth it being that I drive a tractor/trailer and am there at least once a week.Planning on buying 3 more from there.

Strengths:
Non detachable face.User friendly.Excellen t reception.Still has not skipped a beat unless Cd is scratched heavily.Cheap to buy

Weaknesses:
No longer being made.....

Similar Products Used:
Long ago bought a $600.00 Kenwood cassete player with cd changer controls, wireless remote because I'm lazy and tried to be cool back then and detachable face which made a bad connection after a few years...

In a year and a half, my rca connections have come loose on the radio head unit outputting to my subwoofers a varying degree of bass (unless held firmly)
