Price Paid:
$130.00 Year / Model Reviewed: Pioneer DEH-4100 Summary: I'd recommend it if you don't mind turning it down before you turn off your car (unless you want to risk blowing your speakers and your eardrums), especially for the price I got it at. It brought my stock speakers to life. Strengths: I like what matters, and that is the sound quality. Really clean bass, nice treble. EQ is really easy to use. It has a really nice display (if you like the flashy stuff [which i don't, but it's nice anyway]). Overall, it's great. Weaknesses: I don't like what I would have never imagined to be a problem. When you're listenig to it really loud, and you turn off the car. Later you come back and turn it on, and the sound goes BAM. My stock unit slowly faded in so it wouldn't blow the speakers. You have to turn it down before you turn off the car. Pain in the ass. I also don't like the flashy stuff (hehe). And it's kinda hard to read in direct sunlight. Similar Products Used: Stock Honda Unit (Alpine). It's better except that the stock unit fades in. (See above).
