Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $150.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
I picked this up at BB for 149.99! I was in search of a nice head unit but this really appealed to me. Not only was the price nice but it is an AWESOME deck. The mosfet amp will beat the hell out of any speaker you put up to it. If set up right this CD player can make a nice set of 6X9's sound like a 12 inch sub!! For the price I paid, there is NOTHING better at all!! After listening and using it myself I really would have paid up to $240 for this. It really is worth every dime!!

Strengths:
Great BASS, cd player works nice, not too hard to use

Weaknesses:
No MP3

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $180.00 from Car Audio Sensations

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Pioneer DEH-P3500

Summary:
Recently I got sick of my stock 1989 head unit in my pickup, so on a limited budget I looked around and bought this. For the price it has all the features I needed and includes a remote. I have almost blown my stock speakers a few times because of the power it has. Then if you press the loudness button it makes people think you have a pair of 8's behing the seat. I am very impressed with this headunit.

Strengths:
Remote, 3 band parametric equalizer, flip down face, changer controls, detachable face security, lights up green at night which matches my dash lights. Great signal reception.

Weaknesses:
doesnt have a Bass RCA output. Non motorized face. only 3 color face panel.

Similar Products Used:
none .

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $179.00 from Best Buy

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Pioneer DEH 3500

Summary:
This is a decent reciever. It is not perfect, but it allows you to totally customize the sound. It includes a high pass filter at 80 or 125 hz which is great if you have subs for the lower end.

Strengths:
High Pass Filter. Turn sub on or off from menu. (High Wife Acceptance Factor) Looks Great!

Weaknesses:
Takes time to customize sound to your liking.

Similar Products Used:
Aiwa, Sony, Kenwood.
