Review 1 of 1 Year / Model Reviewed: 2000 Summary: Paid a mere $230 including shipping from a guy on Yahoo auctions. No way anyone will ever see a similar price for this unit in the near future...he made a mistake in putting in his reserve price. Although pricy, I'd say the unit is worth the extra money, just so you don't have that annoying black plastic piece in GM/Chrysler vehicles. Strengths: CD player has never skipped on me (although most of my driving is on smooth highways), unit is amazingly adjustable...you can fine tune your sound to fit your vehicle/speakers, I like the fact that it has a built in alarm (even though I'm not using it yet), looks nice in my dash. Weaknesses: Thick user's manual, semi-confusing to use at first..beyond basic funtions at least, glass-like front face tends to reflect light in the right conditions...making it hard to see the display. Similar Products Used: Ford/GM factory stereos...no comparison, period. Replaced a pioneer tape player with this CD player. Glad to have the added power and flexibility.
