Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Walmart

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 Pioneer DEH-4300

Strengths:
Fully adjustable tone qualities. Sub-woofer control settings. Remote Control.

Weaknesses:
Should have another source input jack located in the front. Need three pre-amp outputs instead of two.

Summary:
Great stereo, even better with the CD changer. I even switched it from my Taurus to a Caddy Seville. I use an amp so I've never heard the power of the receiver.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $270.00 from Future Tech

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Strengths:
Volume goes to 40, 2 custom equalization saves, 3 if you count the custom sound focus equalization, remote is perfect, bright display, nice looks, plus if you ever want to switch cd faces with someone with the same model it works like a charm, remote works well from a distance, 50 watts x 4 is very loud.detachable faceplate comes with case. Oh yeah and the subwoofer output kicks ass

Weaknesses:
No way to shut off the interior amp, if your not careful on a hot summer day if you play the same disc it will get very hot quick. player shuts off after ejecting a cd

Summary:
First off this is a very good cd player it hasnt even skipped once during a bumpy ride or rough road. Everything kicks ass on this cd player except the fact that the cd player shuts off everytime you eject a cd, and it takes a while to get used to putting the face back on. But if you really want to go all the way id go with the Deh-9300 i heard you can download your own photos to show up on the wide blue screen while you listen to your music but that luxury comes at a very very steep price
