Review 1 of 1 Summary:
I paid about $330 for it on an online website retailer. I would say that I got a good deal at that time. I have no complains with the unit at all. For the price that I paid, I think it was what I whated. I have to admit that the 8970 has the voice activation and cooler LCD that makes my mouth water. :-) Anyhow, it plays my MDs and I have a Sony 10 disk CD changer and MB Quart 6 1/2" front and back speakers (trust me... it's all about the speakers). For the price and what I what it to do... I give it a buy for a person looking for a MD head unit! Strengths:
It plays MDs period! Weaknesses:
It's not as cool as the MDX-C8970. God... my friend has that one and if I had the extra money. I'd would have gotten that one! Similar Products Used:
Haven't used/listen any other MD Head units. I've taken a look at the Clarion but that was outta my league in terms of money.
