Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $399.00 from Coast To Coast Elect

Year / Model Reviewed:
2010 CDX-M610

Strengths:
The beautiful front plate screen. And visible letters. And good power source of the unit.

Weaknesses:
I can't find any!

Summary:
This Unit CDX-M610 is a excellent Unit for the ones that Truly Loves to hear their music with golden sounds. It is Sound of perfection listening to true Rock & Roll music of Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Thin Lizzy, 10cc ect.. I can't get enough of this Unit. It is much better that it's first unit CDX-M600. I'm very proud to own this unit; when I travel across the States,Canada and Mexico. This unit never fails me. I just listen to my music and life is great. Even when I stop to see my Gals of the the Navada's brothels. Yah, life is good. For I'm just a Gigolo. What Can I say. And since I won Lotto I will build me a Rock And Roll Radio stion that can be heard all over America. Just Like the late & great Wolf Man Jack Use to do on his KXERB Station. Blasting his voice all over America from MEXICO. Those were the days! The SONY CDX-M610 is a beautiful unit that I'm glad I discovered. I cant live without my CDX-M610. And the rest is Rock & Roll! My CDX-M610 with my ZAPCO sond system can't be beat. Many have tried but only fail. This Sony Unit is the all-time champion of car stereo's with it's beautiful flip down face and with it's CD player. And I love the call letters of the station's displayed. It's a very Unique unit. I want My SONY CDX-M610.

Review 2 of 6

Price Paid:  $350.00 from best buy

Year / Model Reviewed:
1997 cdmx-610

Weaknesses:
NOT for extreme systems

Summary:
I like the appearance of this head unit and the features are extremely easy to use. Yet, I just installed a 4 channel audiobahn amp and the sound quality sucks. I believe that this is due to the weak 2v preamp out puts. So it is good for simple systems. But is totally useless for advanced. I hear vibrations out of brand new alpine speakers and i heard the same thing out of my polk audios.

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $150.00 from ubid.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2003

Strengths:
Great sound, CD text, motorized face, oh so customizable display; many, many ways to customize sound depending on your setup

Weaknesses:
takes a few seconds to start up a CD (even if you just got in and the CD was already there); surrounding bracket wouldn't fit in my '97 Altima; have to get used to using the remote instead of reaching for the radio if I want to keep it in Active Black Panel mode

Summary:
So far, lovin' it! If you burn your own CD's and put CD text, it'll scroll on this one! Been a big fan of motorized faces, so this one does everything I need. Read the manual, the default setup had too much scrolling and changing going on, I couldn't always tell what time it was on the active face. But once I read the manual and figured out what I wanted to turn on and off, and what Spectrum Analyzer settings I wanted, I was happy as a clam! High Frequency and Low Frequency Pass options, separate Sub output. I'm gonna hook it up to a Sony CD/MP3 changer and let the good times roll!

Year / Model Reviewed:

Strengths:
Everything except one thing..

Weaknesses:
WHY there isn`t a DETACHABLE FACE??? because of that you may have your radio stolen very fast...

This is the coolest radios in its price range...I Got it for my birthday and i was VERY HAPPY...I Loved the features and everything..I would have it longer if somebody wouldn`t steel it from me...Thanks GOD to NYPD who somehow cought the thief and i got my radio back...Now I need to sell it cause i don`t want the same thing to happen to me again...
