MTX LSB1, (a.k.a. the Black Box) is a dual function, multi-purpose signal and remote turn-on processor. One of its primary functions is to allow you to easily switch between two different subwoofer amplifier signal paths, for either sound quality listening or SPL listening.

THIS product is the $#!+ it boosts the bass frequency of your choice (preferably whatever your sub box is tuned to) and amplifies it X3. It is truly a work of art from MTX. IF YOU CAN GET ONE DONT HESITATE GET IT!

if you can find one get this unit ... basic features switchable gain control with the "spl" switch you also have a sweepable boost frequency 25-85 hz that you can boost from 0-18 db it also has a remote turn on / turn off delay ... (keeps them amps the pop from popping) it is also a awesome gain boost to your rcas /// simply awesome!!!
