Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $6.00 from Joseph's (Texas)

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Nakamichi MB-75

Summary:
This stereo SUCKS! We have had two of them. The second was a free replacement because the first stopped working (E-Mech). Now the second is doing the same thing. No disk changes, plays, or ejects. Can't even get our cds out without taking the stereo apart. DO NOT BUY THIS CHANGER!!!

Strengths:
multi-cd player

Weaknesses:
Stops changing/ejecting/playing cds after a year or two

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $509.00 from online audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 MB75

Summary:
I was so enthused about my brand new unit. Purchased in Sept. Of last year (2002), BUT I DIDN'T PUT IT IN THE CAR UNTIL ABOUT THREE MONTHS AGO BECAUSE THE MOTORCYCLE TOOK UP ALL MY TIME, BUT THATS ANOTHER STORY. SLEEK AND SIMPLE TO THE EYE, BUT APPEALING AT THE SAME TIME. MY EARS STOOD ERRECT WITH ANTICIPATION OF THE SOUND THAT THEY WERE ABOUT TO HEAR. INFINITY SPEAKERS.... ALPINE AMP. OH GOD I THINK I'M IN HEAVEN. THEN A DEMON RAN ACCROSS THE DASH BEFORE MY EYES, AND IT TURNS OUT, MY INNOCENT LITTLE CHANGER WAS JUST ANOTHER PAIN WAITING FOR ME TO BEND OVER.

Strengths:
STRONG IN SOUND AND SIMPLICITY, IF THATS WHAT YOUR INTO.

Weaknesses:
WEAK IN CHANGER SPEED, AND LOADING SPEED, BUT WHAT PISSED ME OFF THE MOST IS THAT THIS THING WAS LIKE AN UNTRAINED DOG. DID WHAT SHE WANTED WHEN SHE WANTED. TURN THE CAR ON.... NO POWER. CHECK CONNECTIONS, FUSE, WIRES. NO FRIGGIN POWER. WHACK THE DASH. AAHHHH....... THERE YOU ARE. SO THIS SMACK ME I LOVE IT RELATIONSHIP GOES ON FOR AWHILE. THAT IS UNTIL IT DECIDED TO COME ON WHEN I TURN THE KEY. OOOHHHH, I LIKE THIS. MUSIC AT THE TURN OF A KEY. SPOIL ME BABY SPOIL ME. AFTER A NICE "CAN YOU PLAY #4 PLEASE" (MY FINGER TOUCHING THE SOFT LOOKING BUTTON WITH GREEN LIGHT. THEN SHE DECIDES........ "NO. I'M NOT DOING IT." "WHAT?!" "ERROR MECH, ERROR MECH." OK....... "LISTEN TO THE RADIO. YOU CAN LISTEN TO YOUR CD'S, AS A MATTER OF FACT. YOU CAN'T TAKE THEM OUT EITHER. NOW GO AWAY." OK FINE, I'LL SETTLE FOR THE RADIO. BUT YOUR GOING BACK TO YOUR MASTER LITTLE TRAMP, AND WE'RE GONNA' GET YOU TRAINED RIGHT, OR PUT YOU TO SLEEP.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Just one word: Amazing!!! Excellent quality sound, no distorsions, no peaks, no jumps, even with my worse CD-R''s and an excellent presentation (I hate to have a player that looks like an UFO), easy to use, and the fact that I can have my 6 cd''s on hand is coooool!!

Strengths:
6 CD''s (CD-R included) on one unit, no charger, Great quality of sound. Presentation.

Weaknesses:
If you look for a fast-change charger dont look for this. But, how can you "play" with 6 cd''s on a single unit? I dont care if I have to wait 15 secs to get a new cd''s. How longo would it take to me to put a new CD it if I had a charger at the rear?
