Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $76.00 from Ebay -"buy it now"

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 EQS560

Summary:
"AVERAGE EQUALIZER, nothing special" Has the following adjustments master vol sub vol sub db+ low adjustments mid adjustments mid-hi adjustments hi adjustments This can have 2 different inputs, puts out only at maxium 7rms (not very much) Does have a good subwolfer output, but I would not recommend this EQ for any HIGH-end audio sound system. The EQS560 has dropped its value tremdelously which sucks, the knobs suck, in the dark you cannot tell the position are on. And second, it did NOT match my clarion "blue" headunit, proaudio. This clarion is OK, its good but not the greatest. The above reviews have tried other equalizers, but not AUDIOCONTROL - they have the best equalizers out in my opionin. Sub can only be changed from 60hz to 90hz

Strengths:
Has sub rca output, able to adjust sub level and db level from eq. Can make audio sound alot clearer, does make a noticable difference in volume level, a somewhat good linedriver.

Weaknesses:
Does not have a gain controller Only puts out 4rms, 7V max to the RCAS does not match all HU, suppose to be blue, but more teal looking. Knobs simply suck, cannot see them in dark. Subwolfer can only be adjusted to 60hz or 90hz , nothing else.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $99.00 from los angelas

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Summary:
Nice sound. I like this EQ, because it doesn't "over-equalize". Nice illumination too. (matches my Clarion head unit). Very clean sound. I owned an alpine, kenwood, and pioneer EQ's, and this one is actually better even though it's cheaper.

Strengths:
Good tonal quality. (3 in 1) It's an EQ, sub x-over, and line driver all in one. Extremely good for the price.

Weaknesses:
none
