2004 NSMD-1616 Strengths:
Fully integrated, simple installation. Large screen, can be tilted and rotated to enhance viewing angle for passenger on either side. Weaknesses:
Large unit, screen is quite close to viewers in back seat if a sunroof has to be cleared. Over-tightening mounting screws can cause screen to lose power. Summary:
Large, bright LCD screen (app 10") with integrated DVD player, roof mounted. Multi-region, can play a variety of discs, although have not tested with DVD-R. Audio plays through FM modulator so does not need to be direct wired in to stereo, infra-red headphones (x2) allow passengers to listen to the movie while the driver can play his/her own music.
