Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $1589.00 from Electrified.Com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2003/Magellan 750M (Portable)

Summary:
The Magellan 750M portable GPS product is a must purchase for anyone who drives and can afford the price. The 750M requires little viewing after inputting of destination; recalculates almost immediately; gives audio warnings; has options including yellow pages, major highways, local attractions, languages.

Strengths:
Minutes to learn; no-eyes use; ample time for turns/exits; near-instant recalculation upon missed turnoffs; stay left/right instructions; yellow-page, attraction, major/other routes; highly addictive!

Weaknesses:
More apt to be stolen than the car; needs input interface for faster inputting of lengthy address; highly addictive!

Similar Products Used:
None. Except that I invented a portable GPS device (for which I was awarded a U.S. patent, now expired) and can say the 750M has just about everything one could want.
