none i got this radar.. and the 2nd day i was driven around and the radar went off.. sure enough i saw a copy sooner up the road.. i found this product worked better on city mode.. so i just leave it on city mode.. i also tested this radar on a street where it has a radar that tells you your speed.. and it warned me as soon as i turned onto the street.. and then on the way back it warned me.. meaning the 360 degree option worked! this radar is worth every last penny Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
I feel this radar detector gives you the best bang for your buck. This product has saved me from approx. 8 speeding tickets, 3 within the last month. Basically, this product does what it's suppose to do, and I've even noticed that it sometimes provides 360 degree protection, a feature not listed with this product.
Weakness:
Sometimes, the warning distance isn't very far. It usually gives you plenty of warning though. I recommend this product because of it's inexpensiveness and reliability. For example, the last speeding ticket I received was $150.00. I paid approx. $50 for the Cobra ESD 6000 1 yr. ago. Over the past yr., it has saved me from about 8 for sure speeding tickets. It's paid for itself approx. 24 times. Similar Products Used: Uniden LRD 6299 SWS. I paid 100.00 dollars for this product. The 50 dollar cobra I bought is much superior. |

Works, saved me from a ticket a few times.
Weakness:
Laser alert goes off sometimes when I first turn it on. It may me defective. I bought this radar detector from a "whosaler" in a van. It was a dumnb thing because I think this one may be defective. The laser alert goes off for a few minutes sometimes when i first turn it on. I know there is nothing that could be setting it off in my area. Cobra makes a good radar detector, but make sure you buy one from a place you can return it if it is defective. I owned a cobra esd9200 9 band detector before this one, That one was stolen. I did like that one much better though because it had voice alert and 360 digree detection. I recommend this product to anyone. who wants to be protected from tickets but doesent want to spend much. Laser detector really works! Looks, feels and acts like a high performance piece of electronics. Looks very cool.
Weakness:
Price Pretty good detector, I've used many other brands over the years & have gotten clocked many times & gotten tickets with them not even going off. But this one seems to be working like it was supposed to. Similar Products Used: None |
