Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $280.00 from Future Shop

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
Almost the nicest 3-ways I have ever heard... the two high-range speakers really help although the frequency response is crap if you don't amp it up.

Strengths:
Great looks Good price (if you don't get ripped off) Tremendous high frequency response Good bass Very good construction

Weaknesses:
The Exceleon 6.5s are quite possibly the s--ttiest speakers you could choose for your kickpanels. Get components instead. Forget about same brands... Rattle pretty badly.

Similar Products Used:
Kenwood cardboards, Pioneer 6x9s, and Infinity Kappas (better SQ but forget about value)

Review 3 of 6

Summary:
Paid around $150 including shipping from carsteroworld.com. I think it was a pretty good deal. They definately do the trick. Amp these and they will bump.

Strengths:
Sounds pretty good. Great bass output for a 6x9. Power handling is supposed to be pretty good. Look nice.

Weaknesses:
Sound a little japanese. not as harsh as the excelon 6.5" though.

Similar Products Used:
None

Review 5 of 6

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Summary:
I got ripped off by Crutchfield by paying $200. I'm satisfied with the product, but was kind of upset when I found out how much cheaper I could've gotten them. I'll give it 4 stars for value, assuming that most people will pay around $170-$180. Great sound, excellent power rating.

Strengths:
Nice, clean sound. Rubber surround. Look pretty cool.

Weaknesses:
Rattle quite a bit when you turn the power up, but I think that's my car's fault (loose panels).

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer 6x9. The Kenwood's are much better overall. Better bass, better highs.
