Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Ebay

Summary:
I put these in my jeep about 2 months ago and I like them alot. It comes with a crossover built into each speaker wire which wasnt a big problem but some people may not have room or want to mount a crossover. I ran into a problem when I was installing them, they were too deep for the holes in the doors. I bought some spacers at Lowes and was just barely able to fit them in and then they were very tight with the door skin. I also had to drill new mounting holes where as these had 4 holes and my old speakers had 3. So far they've been running off of my Alpine 7894 with stock speakers in the back. Comparitively they sound way better, but then again they should. They have nice crisp highs, clear mids, and well they do their best on lows but theyre just not big enough. I just ordered another set for the rear speakers and I'm gonna be buying some subs to provide the bass. Do not buy these speakers expecting bass, they're not made for it. They're made to go in a nice setup with good subs. If you don't wanna spend the extra money or make the extra effort, buy some sonys, pioneers or try to fit some 6x9s in. Overall, I'm very happy with them and I love Alpine.

Strengths:
highs mids clarity everything but bass

Weaknesses:
bass
