Price Paid:  $550.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Infiniti kappa 5x7

Strengths:
good bass

Weaknesses:
unreliable, cheap made china

Summary:
These speakers are nothing but a piece of junk.I regret to buy and spend around$550CDN for 2 pairs. The mids are good but the highs are average. My older lanzar VB 5x7 sounded much better then these. The designer of these speakers is most retarded person i ever seen.My rear kappa set tweeters came out after a couple of weeks, if you have a hatchback wagon or car never put these speakers at rear. Both front crossovers are gone.I am just so up set they are very unreliable and breaks down easy.used many other brands never had this kind of problem.this was my first and last time for infiniti, will put the same lanzar back.!!!!!!!

Review 2 of 8

Price Paid:  $75.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
03 Infinity KAPPA 572.1CF

Strengths:
-Clean tight sound -Perfect Ford Replacment -Adjustable tweeters very cool

Weaknesses:
The biggest thing wrong about these speackers is the external crossovers cause need for inventive instalation. If your doing it yourself youll need to find a place inside the door where you can mount them with out obstructing the windows movement.

Summary:
These speakers are great. I put two pair in my 2000 Explorer and love them. The sound quality is crisp clear and clean and the adjustable tweeters allow for a surround sound effect. The ceramic cone instead of the traditional type cut down on distortion, even with the volume maxed the highs are clean and the lows are tight. A must for replacing stock ford speackers. If your in need of hard hitting bass you'll definatley need to add a sub to your system. They do have great sound but are a little lite in the bass category

Review 3 of 8

Price Paid:  $95.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Strengths:
super clean sound, Heard but not seen, in my door.

Weaknesses:
not much bass if any at all but thats what subs are for.

Summary:
Awesome!!! Very clean and crisp sound. I have them powered buy a cheap Jeson amp pushing maybe 75 RMS. I can crank them and they seem to never distort. They are a must buy for any Ford car or truck. I have them in my 1999 ford ranger supercab but just in the front door. I will buy another pair for the back doors soon. Awesome pair of speakers.

Review 4 of 8

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Strengths:
power handling, sound quality, quality, price, frequency response, outboard crossover

Weaknesses:
none at all

Summary:
All around perfect speakers. Great quality, great price, can't beat these anywhere. Get the quality of a component set for the same price as a coaxial speaker. Don't have to worry about blowing my tweeters on the low bass frequencies with the outboard crossovers. The only speakers that come close are the $800 mb quart's or some jl audio's

Review 5 of 8

Price Paid:  $125.00 from Nebraska Furniture M

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1992 Lumina Z34

Strengths:
Awesome sounding highs, and midrange. Nothing compares to it.

Weaknesses:
The speakers aren''t built to stand alone by themselves, they are built to use with subs, so the bass is a little on the weak side, but still awesome.

Summary:
I absolutely love Infinity speakers. That is, whenever you have enough power running to them. But they sound so awesome its mindblowing. I have about 100 watts running to each speaker, and they are soo loud and crystal clear. I don''t know what some guy said about the peak power being 150 watts, but mine peak at 300 watts.
