from Stereo West Year / Model Reviewed: 2004 Bazooka S650 Strengths: Excelent sound quality, and power handeling when crossed over at 120 HZ.
Durability.
The mids have cast aluminum basket, rubber surrounds, and flexible sturdy vynil cones.
The dome tweeters are made of a silk like substance and have neodyminium magnets with ferro fluid in them to keep them cool.
Seamless clarity.
Linkwitz-riley crossovers are the highest quality crossover to date. The Linkwitz riley crosover increases your mounting options by reducing some of the issues caused by mounting location. Weaknesses: The Tweeter wires are long and continuos from the spin mount tweeter conector. If you mount the tweeters in the door panel, I advise installing quick connects so the door panel can be completely removed if something in the door needs to be worked on. I would not say this except it seems to me I have had tweeters in the past which had quick disconnects for that purpose. Summary: These are excellent speakers. I expect they will live for a very long time. My set has been used daily since June 2004 without a glitch. Similar Products Used: MB Quart 314 5.25",Sounstream SS511 5.25", Orion XTR 6.5MB,
