Considering I bought a pair of these and Blaupunkt 6x9's for under $100, the entire setup sounds decent. I can only compare it to stock Civic speakers, but they aren't bad. Definately do not amp these, and the bass distorts at high volume (volume 20 on my alpine headunit). The bass at reasonable volumes is decent. People are impressed that there is not a sub in the trunk, but I know there could be better bass in a better speaker. The highs exist but they cant make you blink, even though harshness is not a good thing. They are average I guess. Not too sure on the midrange (dont know what to listen for) But I am pleased with these considering the price. I like listening to quality sounding music and they have satisfied me for the most part. I guess I just don't know what I'm missing. Do not downgrade your current system to these if you have something better. Similar Products Used:
