Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $30.00 from used from friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Summary:
These speakers have great clarity. I got an insanely great deal from a friend who bought the wrong speakers for his application, he had holes for 6x9s but anyway I am extremely impressed and am shopping for another pair of them. but you dont find them on ebay often they are really keepers

Strengths:
they have very bright tweets and great mids they have very good construction also

Weaknesses:
the price is high if you buy retail but then you get better backing on warranty issues if you do

Similar Products Used:
clarion, jvc

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $120.00 from Local shop

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1995 Ford Contour

Summary:
It looks like I spent a little bit more than I had to for these speakers, but I don''t regret it. I am running them straight from an Aiwa 50X4 head unit and they sound excellent. Great clarity and impressive bass, especially for the price. I plan to amp them in the near future, but I''m satisfied for now. I also plan to add a couple subs, because anyone who thinks they can get enough bass out of door speakers is either too easily satisfied or completely nuts.

Strengths:
Impressive clarity, good-enough bass, appealing price.

Weaknesses:
None as of yet, but they are not amped. I seriously doubt they''ll blow easily, though, unless you just send an insane amount of power to them.

Similar Products Used:
RF 5X7''s...I forget the model type...they''re comparable, maybe a tad more bass...a more discerning ear could probably tell a difference. I can''t.
