Description:
If you have a 6-inch cutout, you wont find a component system anywhere that offers a better dynamite-to-dollar ratio. The FS60 is a 2-way component set-up that offers a pair of 3/4-inch neodymium Kortec tweeters (neodymium, an incredibly powerful magnet material, allows us to make our tweeters incredibly small, so they are infinitely installable). Dual 6-inch woofers (butyl rubber surrounds and copolymer cones) operate flawlessly, (standing up to extremes in both temperature and humidity) and two system-specific crossovers (the brains of the operation, dividing high frequencies from lows and sending them to the proper driver). Its a killer system that wont drain your bank account.

Summary:
These splits are excellent value for money, on par in SQ with Boston Rally's. The imaging/staging is terrific with every instrument in the music being unbiased from each other in delivery. Female vocals shine on these and crossover rolloff is done right. frequency response is very flat from up high to about 2khz where there is a slight fall from between here and 500hz. This is a very minor quible, but i does allow a need for an Equalizer to up this area which typically comprises of male vocals and low guitar notes. For most people the efficient tweeter will need attenuation which is available via jumpers in the crossover units. These splits need at least 15 watts RMS before the music is balanced, otherwise the tweeters efficiency will drown out the mid/midbass. Hence i do not recommend running them off a head unit, which i did so before matching the splits with a RF-501X. Due to import tarrifs and American Buying power these splits are dirt cheap in the US so stop thinking your poor and get yourself a pair because i payed an equivilent of $200US but i know they go for less the a hundred bucks over there.
