Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $95.00 from Brian Reimer Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
 HS462A

Strengths:
Handle bass very well without distorting, good mids and crisp highs.

Weaknesses:
I couldn''''t get my hands on a pair of the Coustic 6x9 tri-axials!

Summary:
This an update to my earlier review of this product. I finally got a Pioneer 4400 installed and was able to really exercise these speakers. The sound quality is amazing. These 4x6s handle bass very very well and I can now say they are worth a lot more than I paid for them. Mids sound great and crisp highs, you could almost call these sleepers for their price/performance.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $95.00 from Brian Reimer Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001/HP46.4

Strengths:
Good bass for a 4x6,sharp highs and clean clear vocals considering a dash mount isn''t the best location in the world.

Weaknesses:
None that I''ve notced but then again I''m not that experienced where car audio is concerned I just know what sounds good to me.

Summary:
HP46.4 - 4" x 6" 2-Way Speaker System .5 " Ferro-Fluid Filled Balanced Dome Neodymium Tweeter 6 oz. High Energy Magnet 1" Vented High Temperature Aluminum Voice Coil Universal Mounting Adapters These are upgrades to my stock dash speakers in a ''91 Pontiac 6000LE Wagon and I was amazed at the power these little buggers have. They can handle a fair amount of bass, nice highs and clean vocals. They also seem to just sound better the more juice you throw at them although in all honesty I''m still using an old Delco. They actually sound so good I plan to replace the 6x9s in the tailgate with the Coustic HP693.4. I can''t wait to sink a Pioneer DEH6300 or a JVC SH55 in my car and really bring out the quality in these speakers. Well worth the bucks.
