Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $99.00 from EBAY

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Focal 165HC

Strengths:
Honest high end sound. Very revealing. Flat response. High Efficency

Weaknesses:
None

Summary:
Extremely good for the money. Sounds remarkably like Focals high end products. Very, very smooth and revealing, if you can find these coaxes at a good price, you will not be disappointed. I also installed Focals 165H components in the front (they are also great), but could have easily used the 165HC for front/rear without sacrificing sound quality. VERY RECOMMENDED!

Strengths:
Neutral sound, good efficiency (92.5 dB) Suprisingly good bass response

Weaknesses:
Big magnet required custom install in my 88 integra (read: thick spacers, stock grills had to be tossed).

Summary:
Best speaker in this price range that I''ve heard.

Year / Model Reviewed:
 focal 165hc

Strengths:
everything

Weaknesses:
none

Summary:
I put these in a miata and all i can say is wow. these are the best 6.5" i have ever heard. they blow away polk, infinity, jl audio, boston and are very close if not better to ADS. they have a very smooth nonfatiging sound. they handle tons of power and can put out lots of low distortion bass. highly recomended. the best 6.5 on the market IMHOP
