Price Paid:  $30.00 from Futureshop

Year / Model Reviewed:

Strengths:
price, sound quality/quantity

Weaknesses:
none

Summary:
Needed a set of cheap speakers to go with my 1988 factory casette, the old ones had rotted. Sounded great, amazing for the price. Recently went to a 180 watt CD head, and BAM!!!. My local sound place can''t get the tailgate to stop buzzing (only heard outside) when it''s turned up.

Review 3 of 3

Year / Model Reviewed:

Strengths:
Really low low's and really high hi's....Frankly? Damn good sound....

Weaknesses:
The wattage. It's only recommended for 80 watt max amplifiers....

Summary:
I was looking for just some average speakers. I wasn't looking to spend for a whole lot as I just go my deck which is about 7 years old. I went from store to store having those salemen trying to sell me $150 alpines to go with my 7 year old alpine deck. Then I happened to find my way in to my local Future Shop. I found this pair of speakers selling for $20 cdn. I took one listen to them and they sounded great. However once I put them into my car they sounded amazing. These speakers accentuate the really low frequency bass, and also the really really high treble. A great full range speaker and for the price? They're damn Amazing!

If you're looking for a cost controlled 6x9 speakers, or even just looking for speakers for your vehicle, you gotta check these ones out before checking out some speakers that are selling for $100 more.

My only problem with these speakers is that they're only recommended for an amp with a max rating of 80 watts. But hey, I'm going through what is considered a mediocre deck compared to todays standards and they sound amazing. My who car rattles with the bass of these speakers.
