Price Paid:  $85.00 from Audio Vibe

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Strengths:
Awesome clarity, smoothness, sheer dynamics for such a small speaker, sound good with any kind of music, especially acoustic.

Weaknesses:
Is it normal for a 3.5" speaker to play bass below 85 Hz? LOL! There aren't any weaknesses with these little guys!

Summary:
Originally, I wanted to put a pair of JBL's power series 3.5" speakers in my dash, but the magnets and baskets were too big! lol! I ended up choosing the GTO 3.5", not just because they would fit in the factory location, but because they are an amazing little speaker. When I first started putting a system together in my car, I had only these speakers running full range off my head unit, and my friends and family couldn't beleive how loud and clear they were for their size. The clarity of the mid and high ranges is awesome. The tweeters sing loud and proud, all while maintaining smoothness and clarity. I'm planning to get a 4 channel amp to power both these, and my rear speakers, and I think the SQ will only get better, as well as being able to play even louder. One of the other things that surprised me about theses speakers is that for a 3.5" woofer, they can actually play a pretty good amount of bass. I'm impressed that JBL can make not only awesome big speakers, but also little ones too like the GTO 320. If you are planning to get some great sound at a good price, I'd reccomend these speakers in a heartbeat.
