Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $50.00 from Friend's Place

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
Excellent speakers. Good in both treble and midbass. I have my system slightly faded to the front because my 6.5" Xplod rears sound terrible now.

Strengths:
Great highs, solid warm midbass.

Weaknesses:
Maybe a little power-hungry...that is all.

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer TS-G1055's: No comparison, the JBL's blow them away in every respect, my last drop of faith in Pioneer speakers dried up when the tweeters decided to fall out.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $45.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 87 Nissan Sentra E Hatchback

Summary:
These coax''s sound good for being what they are, HOWEVER, they nickel plated the woofer, put a nice rubber surround on it and sealed the magnet. Yet, they can''t attatch the tweeter properly. I now have had 3 sets from JBL with the same problem. (next set will be up on Ebay) If you can get a set built properly they are excellent for the money.

Strengths:
Durable woofer, Very cool look, nice sensitivity.

Weaknesses:
Poorly built, tweeters fall off.
