Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I purchased these speakers online from Crutchfield for $99. I thought, hey, these are usually $199. Right now they're only $99 buy 'em. Especially since I've had good luck in the past with JBL products. I have to say these speakers are not worth the 99 bucks I spent. The highs are very good and clear but the bass is very weak. It sounds identical to the factory speakers I replaced. I've got them hooked to an Alpine 7873 head unit, there should be more bass. The speakers are not out of phase unfortunately. I will leave them in the car only because it's a pain getting to them. I'm sure that with subs it would sound better, but I don't want subs taking up room in the trunk. Plus, I've outgrown the bass craze. I can not recommend these even though the price was only 99 bucks.

Strengths:
Good highs. $99 at Crutchfield.

Weaknesses:
Weak lows.
