Description:
Kenwood incorporates advanced materials and superior audio engineering into its flagship eXcelon speaker line. Woofer cones are constructed from PBO (a high-performance fiber of superior strength and thermal stability) for low distortion and excellent power handling. Butyl rubber surrounds guide cone movement and contribute to overall durability. High-grade film dome tweeters provide rich, detailed high-frequency response, and gold-plated speaker connectors minimize resistance for smooth signal flow.

The KFC-X168 6-1/2" speakers use PBO cone woofers and 3/4" PPTA film dome tweeters for exceptional accuracy and clarity. The high-grade crossovers improve component performance, while aluminum voice coil formers dissipate heat quickly for higher power handling. These highly-efficient 2-ways offer superb performance, whether they're driven by a low-wattage factory receiver or by a high-powered external amplifier.

Summary:
Great speakers for the price, $89.00 excluding shipping from Hookedontronics. I was really impressed with it's low-end and high-end frequency specs. These speakers give better low-end frequency response than the high pricey models of the same power range.
