these speakers totally suck. massive amounds of static, and im ashamed to have them in my car, although you cant see them, the sound of them alone in my car makes me sick. by far the worst sounding speaker i've ever heard. im running them off my nakamichi cd player, wich should be less than 40w. i double checked to see if i had a bad channel in my cd player, and double checked to see if i was picking up noise in the wire. its the speakers, they just sound crappy. i get a cracking static noise almost constantly. i would recommend soundstream taranchula 3.5" because soundstream is always clear and loud.
btw, i am no audio extreamist or know everything, just the average joe putting some speakers in a vw golf, and they just sound bad, no joke. Similar Products Used:
